Guided by our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) trained facilitators and outdoor guides, we’ll create a safe space together to explore issues such as privilege, inclusion, diversity, personal activism, leadership and more. Through dialogue to generate greater self-awareness as well as shared consciousness of challenges impacting our communities, participants will connect more deeply with their peers and collaborate on action steps towards social justice under the light of the stars. Additionally, throughout the week, participants will share moments together connecting with nature, forging new friendships, as well as Educo’s incredible activities like canoeing, swimming, hiking, climbing, high ropes, ziplining and more! Campfire time will provide opportunities for team games, as well as probing discussion around what it means to be an equitable and sustainable global citizen.

This program is certified by the Centre for Executive Education at the University for Peace - established by the General Assembly of the United Nations. This certification highlights the quality and high standards of our program, and our commitment to creating exceptional transformational learning experiences.

Through carefully selected activities based on 15 years of facilitating youth conversations, participants will engage in dialogue and reflection regarding the relationship between our actions and environmental issues and global climate crisis. Move beyond discussion using design thinking to lead sustainable change in your communities. This program will build in participants an understanding of self and others as they relate to personal leadership style and how to lead in the service of others in the 21st century. Throughout the week there will be lots of opportunities to make connections with nature, create relationships, and have fun while canoeing, swimming, hiking, climbing, high ropes, ziplining and more! Campfire time will provide an opportunity to lean into games but also conversations around what it means to be a global citizen, the UN sustainable development goals and issues within diversity, equity and inclusion.
